This project reveals that a great deal of design inspiration can come when integrating two or more unlikely elements into a single plan.   The concept for the patio was to fuse the organic with the contemporary.   The natural feel of 2-Horse flagstone used for the main body of the patio is juxtaposed with contemporary feel of the 24x24" Abbotsford concrete pavers which were used to finish one end of the patio and lead to the newly constructed deck staircase.   In addition, a path leads to the northwest corner of the yard where we constructed three small granite benches, each with their own flair.
